About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Automate collection and reporting of import/export trade data for detailed analyses and executive-level summaries
  • Develop automated reporting for market pricing data from CMA, ICIS, and other industry publications
  • Analyze market, pricing, and internal business data to identify demand drivers and pricing trends across Derivatives BU products
  • Develop product elasticity models and demand forecasts to support commercial strategy and pricing decisions
  • Work closely with senior FP&A, Commercial, and Business Development professionals
  • Analyze global trade flows, market pricing data, and internal commercial information
  • Contribute to tools that improve commercial decision-making and visibility into market trends, pricing behavior, and demand patterns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Economics (preferred), Finance, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge, including pivot tables, Power Query, and data analysis
  • Microsoft PowerPoint knowledge
  • Interest in pricing, forecasting, market intelligence, or business analytics
  • Ability to work independently and manage a project-oriented assignment
  • Coursework or practical experience in econometrics, statistics, forecasting, or demand modeling (preferred)
  • Understanding of price elasticity and regression analysis (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and analytics tools such as Microsoft Copilot (preferred)
  • Experience with external market data, trade data, or economic indicators (preferred)
  • Interest in commodity markets, chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial products (preferred)
