About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides leadership, oversight, guidance, and direction to a cross functional team of Maintenance, Facilities, Planning, Capital Expense Project, Reliability and Integrity Departments.
Responsible for leadership, strategic direction and management of the engineering departments: Mechanical and Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I).
Key partner of the Site Production Manager in ensuring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is maintained and maximized.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all internal customers in support of site-wide operations.
Support site objectives by directing safe and efficient preventive and corrective equipment repairs.
Responsibility for managing the development of the engineering teams and their individual members.
Provides Mechanical, Civil and EC&I strategy and oversight for the assets life cycle.
Maintain and improve performance of the company's physical assets and control maintenance Labouré and materials costs.
Effective participation as a site and operations senior manager to define and implement SHEQ&S strategy and direction for the business.
Accountable for ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental aspects and cGMP quality for the function.
Provide high-quality project and program management standards across the whole project lifecycle of the capital expense projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Academic level: Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
Over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry.
15 years of experience in maintenance management within the chemical sector.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and team collaboration skills.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical maintenance, reliability, integrity, and engineering controls.
Strong expertise in electrical, control, and instrumentation (EC&I) maintenance, reliability, integrity, and engineering controls.
In-depth understanding of project management principles and practices.
Proficiency in SAP, maintenance systems, CAPEX management, and other relevant tools and processes.
