About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • oversee end-to-end material flow, including inbound materials, production scheduling, inventory control, and outbound shipping
  • manage production scheduling activities, balancing customer demand, production capacity, and material availability to meet service levels
  • lead daily operations across warehouse, shipping, and scheduling teams, ensuring alignment to production plans and delivery requirements
  • monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery, schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, productivity, and customer complaints, and drive continuous improvement actions
  • coordinate cross-functionally with production, procurement, customer service, and logistics to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery
  • oversee inventory management, cycle counts, and material planning, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing excess or shortages
  • manage relationships with carriers and external vendors, including performance monitoring, cost management, and service level improvements
  • identify operational inefficiencies and implement lean practices, process improvements, and workflow enhancements across scheduling, warehousing, and shipping
  • ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA), company policies, and regulatory requirements, fostering a strong safety culture
  • lead, coach, and develop team members across operations, including performance management, training, and workforce planning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, scheduling, warehouse, or shipping
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and production planning systems
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), MRP, and data analysis tools
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred
