About the role

  • Identify, target, acquire and service key customers for Sylvin Technologies / Alphagary
  • Manage and grow business with existing customers in assigned territory or on a national basis
  • Excel at account relationship building, specifically fostering relationships with key people at various levels in their organizations
  • Set territory goals and write annual sales territory plans
  • Manage assigned distributor and/or independent manufacturer’s representative sales in assigned territories

Requirements

  • Four year college degree, preferable with a technical/engineering or business/marketing emphasis
  • Five+ years' experience in outside sales account management in the plastics, chemicals or industrial markets (appropriate industry experience may be substituted for academic degree)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office and internet research skills
  • Self-driven and motivated, customer focused, work well independently
  • Technically capable and excellent questioning technique
  • Successful key account management experience
  • Clean driving record
