About the role
- Monitor, support and optimize daily plant operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement program for EHS, efficiency and production
- Fully support Process Safety Management program
- Troubleshoot and resolve process upsets quickly and effectively
- Lead plant trial plans and evaluate data for process enhancement
- Assist with required environmental reporting and documentation
- Contribute to scope development, design reviews, and start-up support for capital projects
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing
- Knowledge of unit operations such as distillation, reaction, heat transfer, filtration, neutralization, compression and fluid flow
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and process data interpretation skills
- Ability to perform standard chemical engineering calculations
- Demonstrated proficiency with Process Safety Management (PSM) processes
