About the role
- Lead Mexico’s Sites in the HSE/PSM Culture in the drive to zero injuries and incidents
- Define the necessary indicator for the HSE/PSM culture to achieve excellence
- Train site personnel for the proper implementation of Orbia standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Support operational leaders in HSE/PSM aspects
- Lead and coordinate HSE Standards across sites
- Create a direct communication line with Site managers and operational leaders in Mexico
- Organize regional safety committees and support employee participation
- Examine safety data and trends to create strategic safety plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety, Chemicals, or Process
- 10+ years of professional certification in Process Safety and Environmental Management
- 10+ years of plant experience in Manufacturing / Support of Chemical / Hazardous Materials operations
- PSM Certification (local or international)
- Auditor leader certification
- Coaching management ISO 9001:2015 Auditor Certification
- Knowledge of Mexico Regulation – Safety and Health PSM Best Practices
- Spanish fluency (native proficiency); English proficiency (desirable)
