First point of contact with the School of Medicine HR Office and Department of Psychiatry leadership.
Budget development responsibilities for HR Core and the Department.
Works with HR Program Manager to manage staff and faculty hiring procedures including letters of offer, background checks, new employee orientation/training.
Manages HR Core funding.
Subject matter expert on HCM transactions for new hires, salary adjustments, job changes, FTE, funding distribution updates, promotions, additional pay, terminations, etc.
Works with HR Payroll Specialist, DOP finance and Division Administrators on faculty and staff merit increases and HCM process.
Provide HR leadership to Department of Psychiatry collaborators.
Organize and maintain HR strategic goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
4 to 6 years of professional level experience in general HR.
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.
Experience in CU Systems including HCM, OnBase, CU Data, FIMS, PRiSM.
Experience in FMLA and FAMLI.
Experience in Smartsheet’s.
Knowledge of CU HR and Finance policies and procedures.
