About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine has an opening for a full-time Operations Administrator at the Principal Professional or Program Manager Level.
- This role will report to the Division Administrator (DA) and work closely with the DA, Division Head, and other divisional leadership as needed for the operations needs of the Division.
- Physical space management
- Process improvement and education
- Strategic planning and representation
- Communications and Quality Control Management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution for Principal Professional Level.
- Three (3) years of professional experience in business operations for Principal Professional Level.
- Bachelor’s degree as listed above for Program Manager.
- Four (4) years of professional experience in business operations for Program Manager.
- A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
- Five (5) years of administrative experience in healthcare or university setting (preferred).
- Experience creating, obtaining approval and monitoring budgets (preferred).
- Experience managing operations for a university division (preferred).
- Experience providing administrative and technical assistance to faculty and staff within a higher education and/or medical education environment (preferred).
- Experience with university systems (e.g. Concur, Archibus, Webspace, HCM) (preferred).
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with high level administration.
