About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate complex clinical scheduling across inpatient services, transplant and hepatology clinics, outreach sites, and provider availability.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and communications.
  • Plan and execute events and educational programming, including webinars, meetings, and faculty recruitment visits.
  • Manage travel logistics and expense processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies.
  • Support procurement activities and financial tracking, including purchasing and budget coordination for events and operations.
  • Coordinate provider credentialing and licensure processes, ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a key point of contact, building strong relationships with faculty, staff, trainees, and external partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Intermediate Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. One (1) year of professional level experience in an administrative or program support setting.
  • Senior Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Two (2) year of professional level experience in an administrative or program support setting.
  • A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) or more years of experience providing administrative and/or business support in an academic, healthcare, hospital, medical, and/or University environment.
  • Experience in complex scheduling and calendar management.
  • Experience with provider credentialing and licensure processes.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
