About the role
- Serve as subject matter expert for centralization of administrative functions within the Clinical Trials Office and affiliated service centers
- Provide data analysis, reporting, and visualization focused on financial performance, cost center utilization, and clinical trial metrics
- Develop dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making (e.g., Dean’s Dashboard initiatives)
- Collaborate with research leadership, finance, IT, and stakeholders to define data requirements and reporting needs
- Monitor cost center performance and support budget planning and forecasting
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with institutional standards
- Support data integration across systems (e.g., iLab, OnCore, financial systems)
- Present findings and actionable recommendations to leadership and working groups
- Contribute to process improvement and administrative centralization initiatives and assist in development of data governance and documentation practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, strategic management, project management, or related field
- Three to four (3-4) years of experience in data analysis
- Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis
- Master's degree in business administration, public administration, health administration, or related field (preferred)
- Project management experience in higher education, healthcare, or academic medicine (preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable certification (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects with strategic impact
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
