About the role
- Analyze financial and operational data related to clinical trials and service center activities.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making (e.g., Dean’s Dashboard initiatives).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Monitor cost center performance and support budget planning and forecasting.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with institutional standards.
- Support data integration across systems (e.g., iLab, OnCore, financial systems).
- Present findings and actionable recommendations to leadership and working groups.
- Contribute to process improvement and administrative centralization initiatives.
- Assist in the development of data governance and documentation practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, strategic management, project management, or related field.
- Three to four (3-4) years of experience in data analysis.
- A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
- Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, health administration, or related field (preferred).
- Project management experience in higher education, healthcare, or academic medicine (preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable certification (preferred).
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects with strategic impact.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data integration and systems such as iLab, OnCore, and financial systems.
- Background investigations conducted for all prospective employees.
