Discuss with faculty and senior researchers to identify research questions, discuss results, analyze alternative routes to ensure progress
Conduct literature search prior to and throughout each research project to familiarize oneself with state of the art
Implement code to run experiments to explore the research questions, analyze results
Document work, including: documenting code, drafting manuscripts, prepare slideshow presentations for internal review and for conferences
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Intermediate Professional Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
1 year of professional experience as a machine learning researcher in an academic research institution or as a machine learning engineering/developer in a private company.
Experience in coding using python, as well as using machine learning libraries such as sklearn, opencv, pytorch (or tensorflow).
Senior Professional Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
2 years of professional experience as a machine learning researcher in an academic research institution or as a machine learning engineering/developer in a private company.
Experience in coding using python, as well as using machine learning libraries such as sklearn, opencv, pytorch (or tensorflow).
Principal Professional Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
3-5 years of professional experience as a machine learning researcher in an academic research institution or as a machine learning engineering/developer in a private company.
Experience in coding using python, as well as using machine learning libraries such as sklearn, opencv, pytorch (or tensorflow).
SUBSTITUTION: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
