Gather, validate, and analyze data from various sources such as the university’s central data warehouse, advancement, student data, market analyses, and peer institutions.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by collaborating with the central campus data enablement team and performing regular data quality checks.
Develop and consistently maintain periodic dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Tableau, Power BI and excel to communicate findings to school stakeholders.
Collaborate with school management and departments to provide data-driven business recommendations and identify trends or patterns for business strategies and initiatives.
Document methodologies, processes, and findings for future reference and continuous improvement.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on data-related strategies and improvements.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested.
Collaborate with internal data analytics groups to broaden overall data literacy and access (code sharing, knowledge sharing, etc.).
Participate in data governance initiatives throughout the campus to ensure best practices and standards are being met.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, mathematics, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
1 year of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence or directly related experience.
Experience working with Python programming languages.
Previous project experience in data analysis.
Experience working with data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, and Tableau.
Experience with an Oracle SQL Server.
Experience working with Snowflake.
