Director of Nurse Case Management

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership and direction to Case Managers and Supervisors
- Ensure day-to-day operations align with company and customer guidelines
- Oversee the assignment of referrals and adherence to Opus Medical guidelines
- Conduct regular reviews of departmental reports, invoices, and performance metrics
- Uphold compliance with policies regarding personal health information
- Manage human resources matters within the department
- Provide clinical oversight and direction for case management activities
- Participate in marketing and client support activities as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required
- A minimum of 5-7 years of clinical nursing experience is required
- A minimum of 3-5 years in case management
- Supervisory or leadership experiences is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of case management principles, workers’ compensation, and/or managed care options
- Proficiency in case management platforms and Microsoft is expected
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA and all applicable regulations governing personal health information (PHI and IIHI)
