About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand complex client environments, from pre-IPO scale-ups to MSCI Asia Pacific large-cap enterprises, and relate Optro’s platform to their challenges
Engage with C-level prospects to position Optro’s strategic value proposition and drive business development opportunities to closure
Participate in executive meetings and establish plans for sales growth, marketing objectives, and sales headcount planning
Present tailored demonstrations of the Optro product suite through online or onsite meetings
Provide thought leadership on industry best practices and regional compliance trends
Serve as a strategic consultant across Southeast Asia, ANZ, and Japan
Mentor and cross-train internal resources and develop team members’ skills and expertise
Provide proactive, trusted thought leadership to target accounts
Attend networking events and conferences to build relationships and create new business opportunities
Partner with Global Business Development, Implementation, and Engineering teams to address APAC clients’ functional and linguistic requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-9 years working experience within Big 4 consulting, Internal Audit, Compliance and/or Risk Management
Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CPA/CA preferred
BS in Accounting, Information Systems, Business or related field
Expert understanding of internal audit methodology and internal controls management
Strong analytical, diagnostic, critical thinking and project management skills
Excellent problem-solving, presentation and decision-making skills
Demonstrated experience managing and working with auditors
Demonstrated experience managing and working with internal cross-functional teams and product engineering groups preferred
Demonstrated experience communicating and reporting to senior leadership
Fluency in English required
Professional proficiency in at least one additional regional language, such as Mandarin or Japanese, is a significant advantage
Understanding of common compliance frameworks such as COBIT, SOC, COSO, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, HITRUST and guidance such as NIST is nice to have
Ability to flourish in a high-growth and fast-paced tech environment
Background checks are required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is based
Candidates must disclose whether employment sponsorship or immigration support will be required
