About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Actively identify and acquire new industrial customers.
- Build and develop new key accounts as well as sustainable customer relationships.
- Identify high-potential applications and advance them into concrete projects.
- Systematically build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using our CRM, Salesforce.
- Sell innovative laser, photonics and optoelectronic solutions.
- Advise decision-makers, production managers and R&D teams.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored solutions together with internal experts and partners.
- Plan and conduct customer meetings, demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Manage the entire sales process – from initial contact to successful close.
- Continuously monitor the market and competitors and identify new trends and applications.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in technical B2B sales, business development or field sales.
- Strong hunter mindset: proactive, persistent and results-oriented.
- Good understanding of the German industrial market and relevant decision-making processes.
- Experience selling complex, technical products, ideally in areas such as: photonics/lasers, optics/optoelectronics, automation/machine vision, manufacturing or specifically joining/assembly technologies.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
- Confident presence, negotiation skills and strong networking abilities.
- High degree of independence in field sales combined with close team collaboration.
- Structured, customer-oriented and results-focused working style.
- Very good German language skills and good English skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the sales territory.
