About the role
- Define and execute client engagement models that drive growth and improve client outcomes.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends and shifts within the cybersecurity space.
- Continuously refine GTM strategy to align with evolving buyer needs, competitive dynamics, and industry opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to elevate the client journey, from strategic advisory through solution delivery and managed services.
- Enhance cross-portfolio adoption of Optiv GTM offers in partnership with Sales and Services leadership.
- Operationalize Optiv Market System, architecting GTM motions and enabling Sales.
- Build and execute industry-specific GTM strategies and sales plays that address unique regulatory, risk, and threat landscape requirements.
- Leverage data, market intelligence, and customer insights to continuously inform segmentation, messaging, and GTM execution strategies.
- Establish executive-level engagement models to strengthen relationships with key clients and alliances.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Partners to ensure clear positioning and scalable delivery of Optiv’s solutions.
- Partner with the Channel and Alliance ecosystem to expand co-sell and co-delivery motions.
- Recommend optimization of GTM investments across marketing, partner, and enablement programs.
- Drive integration across field teams to ensure a unified, consistent client experience.
- Lead GTM operations, enablement, and performance management to improve win rates, pipeline velocity, and field productivity.
- Establish agile GTM execution frameworks with structured feedback loops from field teams.
- Align GTM strategy with Customer Success and Service Delivery teams to support long-term client value realization.
- Define and operationalize success metrics across GTM functions to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing GTM team; develop and manage a GTM organization and related budget.
- Serve as a member of the Optiv Operating Leadership Group and be a talent management ambassador.
- Promote a corporate culture committed to information security best practices and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, or other related area preferred, Master’s Degree a plus.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership in GTM leadership positions with experience in Enterprise, and Partner sales
- Proven experience driving revenue growth through integrated advisory, solution selling, services, and partner-led GTM models.
- Executive presence and ability to engage credibly with Fortune 1000 executives, board members, and alliance partners.
- Track record of building cross-functional alignment and leading large-scale transformation.
- Data-driven leader with strong strategic, financial, and operational acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Experience working with channel partners to co-develop joint sales campaigns and solution capabilities.
- General knowledge and best practices of SaaS growth models and client ROI.
- Ability to accurately interpret business direction and clarify technology's alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Demonstrated ability to create a shared vision, inspire collaboration, and drive change with momentum.
- Effective at teamwork, able to lead cross-functional collaboration.
