About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies
Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded
Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations
Accurately labels and packages medications
Ensures pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods are cleaned and sanitized
Inspects equipment and documents any equipment failures or defects
Assists with recording and maintaining pharmacy temperature & cleaning logs

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state)
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers
Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations
Excellent organizational skills
Basic level skill in Microsoft Word
Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel
Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint
