About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for performing various warehouse functions including assembling and packaging deliveries, rotation of inventory, and data entry of patient information
Manage efficient and timely delivery of medication and supplies to patient homes, ambulatory infusion suite or other site of service
Assists with ordering, receiving and stocking incoming shipments
Develops positive working rapport with courier service
Maintains assigned vehicle in a clean and orderly condition
Develops alternate delivery plan in the event of emergency breakdowns
Compounds sterile preparations as needed
Conducts inventory control on products
Assures most cost effective method of delivery is utilized

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record which meets company’s standards and must have auto insurance in effect at all times
Meets all state requirements for a Pharmacy Technician, which may be registration, licensure or certification
Knowledge of geography serviced by the Pharmacy, traffic patterns and drive times
Understanding of all service options and delivery time commitments
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with branch departments
