About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead onboarding of asset managers, fund managers, transaction managers, and related user groups into Optiml
Independently train users on role-specific workflows and use cases
Translate Optiml into asset strategy, business planning, Capex prioritization, portfolio steering, transaction support, and investment committee preparation
Help users understand relevant inputs, assumptions, and credible interpretation of outputs
Advise client users after sale on financial and investment-related use cases
Guide customers through workflow questions, interpretation challenges, and practical application of outputs
Partner with Delivery, Customer Success, and Commercial teams on onboarding and early value realization
Support implementation and training with a focus on usability, adoption, and decision relevance
Identify and proactively resolve risks to adoption, user confidence, and satisfaction
Capture recurring user questions, workflow friction, interpretation issues, and feature requests
Translate customer workflow needs into feedback for Product and Delivery teams
Contribute to playbooks, onboarding materials, training assets, and customer-facing guidance
Build internal expertise on how investment-side real estate users think, decide, and work

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–5 years of professional experience in institutional real estate, real estate finance, asset management, fund management, transactions, or a closely related client-facing role
Strong preference for 2–3 years as a junior asset manager, junior fund manager, transaction manager, analyst, or associate in an institutional real estate environment
Proven ability to support real estate financial and investment use cases, including business plans, Capex planning, acquisitions, portfolio analysis, or strategy setting
Strong client-facing communication skills and confidence guiding sophisticated users through workflows and decision logic
Ability to independently onboard, train, and support users in a software environment
Highly organized, structured, and proactive way of working
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
Willingness to become a power user of Optiml and continuously deepen software and workflow knowledge
Swiss or EU citizenship / work authorization
Experience with institutional asset managers, fund managers, transaction teams, real estate private equity, or real estate investment / portfolio teams strongly preferred
Experience in PropTech, SaaS, or software-enabled real estate workflows strongly preferred
Experience training clients, internal teams, or users in structured tools / systems strongly preferred
Understanding of institutional real estate decision preparation, challenge, and communication strongly preferred
Experience in customer success, delivery, implementation, or solution consulting in B2B software; sustainability, decarbonization, or Capex decision-making; committee-ready materials, investment recommendations, or decision-support outputs; or data-heavy workflows are nice to have
