About the role

  • As a data management consultant, you help global clients design and implement data strategies that ensure data integrity while enforcing governance policies.
  • Maintain the quality and compliance of an organization's data assets.
  • You are a SME guiding organizations with best practices and frameworks to manage and streamline their data assets.
  • You develop innovative and practical solutions to complex data and business challenges.
  • You collaborate with diverse, multi-cultural teams, demonstrating empathy in all interactions.
  • You ensure attention to detail and a strong focus on quality in all deliverables.
  • You take end-to-end ownership of projects and client engagements.
  • You manage stakeholders effectively by building strong relationships with both clients and internal team members.

  • You communicate clearly and concisely, both in written and verbal formats, having excellent presentation skills.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of professional experience, specifically in the areas of Data Strategy, Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Architecture.
  • A solid understanding of major data types, including master data, transactional data, real-time data, and analytics data, is essential.
  • Experience from sectors such as Manufacturing, Retail, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) is required, particularly where this experience has been gained on European projects.
  • Proficiency in developing business models, synthesizing comprehensive reports, documenting business processes, and creating effective storyboards that communicate complex information clearly.
  • Prior experience working with, or on behalf of, a leading global consulting firm is highly desirable.
  • Educational qualifications should include a degree in Science, Technology, or a related field, complemented by a post-graduate degree in Management (MBA or PGP) from a top-tier business school.
  • Exposure to DAMA-DMBOK framework with CDMP certification will be considered an advantage.
  • Understanding of delivering automated solutions using agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies will be seen as an additional advantage.
