About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the installation and commissioning of OPTEL systems at client sites.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical installation while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Train end-users on the proper use of OPTEL systems.
- Perform maintenance and repair on installed systems as requested by the customer service department.
- Identify potential sales opportunities (new contracts, complementary systems).
Requirements
What you’ll need- College diploma in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge in computer science and electronics.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industries (asset).
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
- Fluency in English and in French is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
- Availability to travel approximately three weeks per month.
