About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report directly to the Accounting Lead
  • Manage assigned accounting responsibilities daily
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Create and enter journal entries into the accounting platform
  • Complete account reconciliations and manage select ledger accounts across multiple entities
  • Analyze general ledger transactions and accounts to ensure financial transactions are recorded
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Prepare information for and assist with financial audits and reviews
  • Help develop internal processes to improve financial reporting
  • Keep and maintain organized records
  • Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative office responsibilities
  • Gain familiarity and working knowledge of general ledger systems
  • Work with other departments to determine workflows and resolve issues
  • Assist the Accounting Lead and Accounting Manager with the monthly close process
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis, including potential inter-departmental and vendor-related projects
  • Work independently and collaboratively

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting/financial reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
  • Working knowledge of GAAP accounting, PCAOB, and SOX standards
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, IF/AND, and pivot tables
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and FloQast
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset
  • Committed work ethic
