Lead the development of best in class analytics solutions across OppFi’s Operations teams
Drive analytics projects end-to-end with operations channel experts and cross-functional teams
Lead the development of models to support coordination and optimization across operations functions
Develop tools and training that enables the Operations Strategy team to adopt an analytical mindset
Provide leadership in identifying opportunities to leverage advanced analytics or AI
Lead standardization of metrics across operations to drive decision making by operations leaders
Lead the design and monitoring of tests to support learning and optimization

Requirements

7+ years of experience in data science or analytics
3+ years people management experience
BS or MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or equivalent quantitative field
Experience developing custom models based on an understanding of the underlying data and business problems
Experience with causal inference measurement (a/b and multivariate testing)
Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience designing rapid experiments
Knowledge of modern analytical tools and languages like Python, R, SQL, and Tableau
