About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are responsible for the successful delivery of IT software projects – from initiation and planning through to final handover – for our clients in the tank terminal sector.
- Full project ownership for medium to large IT implementations (TMS/MES) in the DACH region and internationally.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams of software developers, consultants, and client representatives.
- Conduct requirement analyses, system configurations, integration testing and go‑live phases.
- Closely coordinate with stakeholders on the client side (operations, IT, engineering).
- Apply proven project management methodologies – using Jira.
- Ensure deliveries are on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, ideally in software implementations for industrial applications
- Understanding of TMS/MES systems and their role in operational processes is a strong plus
- Industry experience in Oil & Gas or related process industries (e.g., Chemicals, Energy)
- Solid, demonstrable experience managing the various project phases
- Experience with Jira or comparable tools is an advantage
- Applicants must have native-level German language skills
- Willingness to travel for client meetings (approx. 10–20%)
