About the role
- The Systems Administrator supports and improves OpenSesame’s internal IT systems, resolving escalated issues, managing core tools, and driving automation and security initiatives.
- This role is ideal for someone proactive and hands-on, ready to take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
- Within 30 Days: Meet with the IS Manager to understand priorities, review IT infrastructure, shadow IT Support Specialists, shadow the Systems Administrator, complete onboarding, and assist with active project tasks.
- Within 60 Days: Independently manage escalated IT support tickets, complete at least three projects, demonstrate proficiency in Jamf, Google Workspace, and Okta, and begin maintaining enterprise data and security practices.
- Within 90 Days: Carry full ticket/project workload, cross-train Help Desk, gain admin proficiency in three more IT tools, propose automation, and assist with internal security audits.
- Within 120 Days: Audit and streamline account provisioning; automate manual workflows; own tools and applications; transition to autonomous operations.
- Tech Stack: OKTA, Apple Macbook, Google Workspace (GSuite), Jira, Confluence, Zoom, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Password Manager
Requirements
- Proactive and hands-on Systems Administrator
- Experience with Jamf, Google Workspace, and Okta
- Endpoint management and user access controls
- Knowledge of enterprise IT security practices and documentation
- Ability to manage IT support tickets and project tasks
- Familiarity with cloud environments and SaaS platforms
