About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the multi-year vision and roadmap for the Domains and DNS portfolio, aligned with company commercial goals.
- Publish quarterly priorities, ensure full coverage across gTLDs, ccTLDs and DNS products.
- Lead a team of 3-5 PMs covering Domain Operations, ccTLDs and DNS.
- Drive pricing, promotions, gTLD/ccTLD accreditations and bundling to grow revenue and margin.
- Ensure registry liaison, EPP changes, ICANN policy compliance and audits are managed without disruption.
- Partner closely with Engineering to maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog and improve the API/RCP experience for resellers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep understanding of the gTLD/ccTLD ecosystem, ICANN policies and registry economics
- Working knowledge of DNS architecture, EPP protocol, registry agreements and domain lifecycle management
- Experience managing registry relationships and navigating compliance obligations
- Proven ability to translate strategy into operational roadmaps in a technical product environment
- Experience leading and coaching a team of Product Managers in an Agile/EOS environment
- Strong commercial acumen: you understand pricing levers, margin dynamics and portfolio trade-offs
- Skilled backlog owner who works shoulder-to-shoulder with Engineering on sprint planning and grooming
- Comfortable owning developer-facing products and improving API/partner experience
- Organised, transparent planner who communicates milestones clearly across teams
- AI-literate: you embed AI tools naturally across documentation, analysis, registry comms and discovery
- Coaching mindset: you develop people through safe-to-fail delegation rather than hierarchy
- Analytical thinker who can break down complex registry and commercial problems into clear decisions
- High ownership, learning agility, and the discipline to manage your own focus and energy well.
