Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain tooling which enables business users to verify the calculations and behavior of our insurance products
Help roll out and document standardized testing, peer review, and governance workflows
Consult on the design of test data, ensuring key scenarios are represented and edge cases are covered
Serve as a subject matter expert on complex rating systems, platform differences, and policy data

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of professional experience, with experience in both of the following areas:
Insurance (P&C and personal lines experience is a plus)
Software development, quality assurance, technical product management, insurance rating engine development, or similar
Experience in Python, SQL, R or other programming language
A degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, similar study, or relevant experience
Strong critical thinking skills, ability to operate in ambiguity and challenge existing processes
Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to translate concepts between technical and business language
