About the role
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and represent customer vehicles at auction
- Measure success by vehicles remarketed monthly and new client volume acquired
- Leverage OPENLANE dealer facing tools, technology, product, services, and third party tools
- Perform sale day duties: pre-sale reports, customer service, IF duties, and post-sale reports
- Explain remarketing specifics to clients: mechanical issues, body and paint work, market conditions
- Oversee auction performance: vehicle cleanups, repairs, condition report writing, booking and flooring, marketing, run numbers, lane placement
- Use independent judgment and tools to evaluate damage and repairs
- Research, evaluate validity, and resolve arbitrations after the sale
- Gather sale data and complete independent assessment of auction for scorecard
- Foster and maintain business relationships with clients and auction management
- Perform other assignments as specified by Director of Remarketing and Titles
- Resolve customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- At least (3) years of remarketing, auction or related field experience required
- Proven communication and presentation skill
- Strong relationship management expertise
- Possess a high level of comfort with technology
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to recognize problems and create solutions
- Accuracy of work and volume must be satisfactory
- Proficient in Google Workspace
