About the role

  • Generate new business opportunities within the German mid-market (500–25,000 users)
  • Engage prospects through targeted outreach, qualification, and discovery
  • Position Open Systems’ solutions (SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, Global Connectivity) versus competitors
  • Research and build prospect accounts and identify new sales opportunities via outbound efforts
  • Cultivate leads, assess opportunities, communicate value proposition, and follow up
  • Build and maintain relationships with key executives and decision-makers
  • Generate and conduct due diligence on inbound leads
  • Maintain open communication with sales team; hand opportunities to appropriate sales members
  • Track and maintain prospects and update contact information in Salesforce.com
  • Report on territory and lead activity to manager
  • Assimilate product and market knowledge and communicate benefits to prospects by phone
  • Work with marketing to develop lead-generation programs
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and contribute to social media presence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent in both German and English (German mandatory)
  • At least 3 years of inside sales experience (preferably in technology sales)
  • Strong prospecting skills including cold calling, email, social media
  • Prior experience in Salesforce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in time management, setting priorities, and taking initiative
  • Driven to succeed and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for building new business
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland (valid work permit, EU citizen OR Swiss resident)
