About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define how OpenAI delivers complex systems to customers
- Own the technical delivery plan for multiple interdependent workstreams
- Run day-to-day engineering execution
- Embed with customer teams to land production deployments and drive adoption
- Partner with Product and Research to ensure deployment goals are met
- Codify solution patterns and evals
- Own value cases and ROI
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of customer‑facing technical delivery leadership
- Track record of successfully leading large, complex, high-stakes customer engagements
- Experience in high ambiguity environments
- Strong technical fluency
- Must have shipped AI/LLM systems
- Expertise in at least one major sector (e.g., healthcare, energy, financial services, semiconductors, IT)
