About the role
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for User Operations roles, including identifying talent needs, managing the recruitment process, and negotiating offers.
- Partner deeply with User Operations leaders to develop targeted hiring strategies across Trust & Safety, Support, Technical Support, and Risk functions.
- Own and drive top-of-funnel talent strategy—proactively sourcing, engaging, and converting high-quality candidates in these domains.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines for high-volume and specialized roles within User Operations.
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience by representing OpenAI professionally and upholding our commitment to diversity and inclusion in all hiring practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, Legal, and Compensation to ensure compliance and operational excellence throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Utilize advanced sourcing strategies and tools to attract and engage top-tier candidates, with a focus on enhancing diversity within our teams.
- Provide expert guidance to hiring managers on interviewing best practices, candidate evaluation, and market insights specific to User Operations talent.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, particularly within in-house environments at high-growth companies.
- Strong experience hiring for User Operations, Trust & Safety, Support, Technical Support, or Fraud & Risk organizations.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing top-of-funnel pipelines through advanced sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across cultures.
- A high level of adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments—balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to evolve processes to meet global hiring needs.
- Proficiency with ATS and sourcing platforms such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other modern recruitment tools.
