Salary
💰 $300,000 - $325,000 per year
About the role
- Co-create the “rubric” for how org knowledge is captured, linked, evaluated, and applied in product flows.
- Build graph-backed, real-time systems that stay fresh by default (streaming + incremental updates).
- Ship enterprise-grade, first-party ChatGPT for Work features end-to-end (prototype → launch → iterate).
- Make pragmatic architecture choices that balance speed, reliability, and privacy/security for enterprise users.
- Wear the founder hat: define scope, set milestones, measure impact—own outcomes, not tickets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product engineering experience building and shipping user-facing features end-to-end.
- Strength in modern web stacks (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, React) and at least one backend language (we use Python).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres/MySQL) and comfort optimizing for speed and scale.
- Product intuition: you talk to users, prioritize signal over noise, and iterate quickly.
- Ability to thrive with ambiguity and move fast in a high-impact, high-ownership environment.
- Knowledge graphs, embeddings/retrieval, vector stores, or near-real-time data pipelines.
- Building secure, compliant enterprise features (authN/Z, data governance, auditability).
- Observability and performance tuning across the stack.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family, with employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts
- Pre-tax accounts for Health FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and commuter expenses (parking and transit)
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
- Paid parental leave (up to 24 weeks for birth parents and 20 weeks for non-birthing parents), plus paid medical and caregiver leave (up to 8 weeks)
- Paid time off: flexible PTO for exempt employees and up to 15 days annually for non-exempt employees
- 13+ paid company holidays, and multiple paid coordinated company office closures throughout the year for focus and recharge, plus paid sick or safe time (1 hour per 30 hours worked, or more, as required by applicable state or local law)
- Mental health and wellness support
- Employer-paid basic life and disability coverage
- Annual learning and development stipend to fuel your professional growth
- Daily meals in our offices, and meal delivery credits as eligible
- Relocation support for eligible employees
- Additional taxable fringe benefits, such as charitable donation matching and wellness stipends, may also be provided.
