About the role

  • Design and implementation of end-to-end AI, cloud, and data solutions on Microsoft Azure & Fabric
  • Development and integration of LLM-based AI applications (Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI) into enterprise architectures
  • Design and implementation of integration workflows with Workato to automate complex business processes
  • Programming backend services, APIs, and microservices for data-intensive applications
  • Conducting pre-sales activities such as customer workshops, technical consulting, and solution design
  • Mentoring team members, performing code reviews, and establishing engineering best practices
  • Advising clients on cloud migration and modernization of data platforms

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development or data engineering
  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java/Kotlin/.NET and solid SQL skills
  • Experience developing and operating applications on Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Services, AKS, Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks)
  • Hands-on experience with modern data lakehouse architectures, iPaaS platforms such as Workato, and LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI)
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development processes
  • Proven involvement in pre-sales projects or customer workshops
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect)
  • Strong communication skills in German and English (minimum C1)
  • Hands-on mentality, team spirit, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
