About the role

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close professional learning sales opportunities in mathematics and English language arts
  • Drive outbound sales to districts, schools, networks, and education organizations not currently owned or actively pursued by the Sales team
  • Sell predefined professional learning offerings, including the Annual HIVE Conference
  • Own and manage a dedicated professional learning sales pipeline from prospecting through close
  • Generate a minimum of $150,000 in professional learning revenue during the pilot period
  • Sell a minimum of 50 HIVE Conference registrations by June 1
  • Coordinate closely with the Sales team to prevent account overlap or outreach conflict
  • Maintain accurate, timely pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Represent Open Up Resources’ academic vision, values, and brand with integrity in all external engagements

Requirements

  • Proven track record of direct sales in the education sector
  • Demonstrated success selling professional learning, services, or comparable offerings
  • Experience or strong familiarity with mathematics and/or English language arts education
  • Strong closing skills and comfort operating in performance-based roles
  • Ability to operate independently and effectively in a contractor capacity
Benefits
  • This is a non-benefited, contractor role includes a flat hourly base rate plus a commission structure.
  • Base rate: $55 per hour
  • Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
