About the role

  • Design and develop scalable, high-quality software across the tech stack and write production-ready code.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
  • Identify and prioritise initiatives that maximise the security and efficiency of our products.

Requirements

  • Deep technical expertise in modern web/cloud technologies (TypeScript, React, AWS, API-first design) and experience with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), including CI/CD processes, Git, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and deploying applications to cloud environments.
  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced and agile environments
  • Experience owning complex technical work with minimal supervision. Good to have: Experience in guiding and mentoring software engineers
  • Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration and external stakeholder engagement.
  • A passion for building software that serves people and improves public services.
