About the role

  • Generate actionable user insights that inform product roadmap decisions across products.
  • Collaborate with designers, PMs, engineers, and product ops on research problems.
  • Conduct research to drive insights and solutions for solving a problem.
  • Demonstrate and teach other designers and/or PMs how and when to conduct research using appropriate methods.

Requirements

  • Fully proficient in research methodologies and able to lead research initiatives.
  • Comfortable designing ways to understand large and ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Experience in collaborating with designers, PMs, engineers, and product ops on research problems.
  • Familiarity with validating hypotheses and analyzing data to identify patterns or trends.
  • Expected to propagate research practices to other government agencies.
  • Proficiency in generating actionable user insights to inform product roadmap decisions.
