Solutions Engineer

• Partner integration & upgrade stewardship
• Own technical coordination for chain integrations, upgrades, and migrations across partner chains
• Define and guide partners through upgrade and integration readiness paths
• Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and expectations across internal teams and external partners
• Partner-facing technical support & triage
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for OP Stack partners post-launch
• Provide high-signal guidance on OP Stack architecture, configuration, and operational excellence
• Triage partner issues and route them to the appropriate internal engineering stakeholders

AI Engineer

• Partner Across the Organization
• Work closely with Data and business teams to understand workflows, identify pain points, and find high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation and efficiency.
• Turn business problems into clear AI use cases.
• Design and iterate on practical AI tools such as copilots, agents, and automated workflows using modern GenAI techniques. Write clean, reliable code in Python and Golang to support these solutions.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to turn prototypes into secure, scalable, production-ready systems.
• Guide teams on AI capabilities, responsible use, and best practices. Mentor others on design, coding standards, and effective AI tools.
• Pilot new solutions with teams, gather feedback, iterate quickly, and support rollout to ensure real business impact.
• Work with Security, Legal, and Compliance to meet privacy, security, and ethical standards.
• Define success metrics and track outcomes such as time saved, cost reduction, increased speed and productivity, revenue impact, risk reduction.
• Continuously explore new AI models, tools, and practices to bring practical innovations into the business.

Lead Engineer – AI

• Act as the primary technical counterpart for enterprise and institutional partners during evaluations, pilots, and integrations into production systems
• Lead technical discovery sessions covering architecture, performance, security, compliance, and operational requirements
• Design and support test environments (e.g., devnets, performance benchmarks, cloud deployments, etc) to validate throughput, latency, and cost assumptions
• Respond to detailed technical diligence from banks, asset managers, system integrators, and regulators
• Translate enterprise requirements into clear technical feedback for OP Labs product and engineering teams
• Help shape roadmap priorities related to institutional needs (e.g., performance, compliance tooling, privacy, sequencing models)
• Support integrations with wallets, custody providers, cloud infrastructure, and system integrators (e.g., Fireblocks, AWS, SIs)
• Participate in technical workshops, partner meetings, and industry events alongside sales and Business Development
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Japanese enterprises evaluating Layer 2 and blockchain infrastructure
• Collaborate with local ecosystem partners (SIs, exchanges, wallets) to accelerate adoption

Sales

• Own and execute strategy
• Define and lead Optimism’s strategy for EMEA end-to-end - act like a General Manager
• Identify high-leverage market entry points (e.g., stablecoin corridors, asset tokenization, embedded finance use cases, B2B/B2C rails)
• Translate protocol capabilities into compelling, business-relevant narratives tailored to EMEA institutional requirements
• Originate and close deals
• Source, structure, and close high-impact partnerships
• Drive adoption of onchain wallets, stablecoins, and embedded finance SDK.
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements involving multiple stakeholders
• Drive product alignment
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and partner teams to ensure successful integration and onboarding
• Channel market feedback to influence roadmap decisions (e.g., compliance features, wallet UX, account abstraction)
• Shape internal Optimism offerings (e.g., SDKs, liquidity support, ecosystem programs) to better meet partner needs
• Lead externally
• Represent Optimism at industry events, conferences, and global forums
• Publish thought leadership on programmable money, composable compliance, and the future of financial infrastructure
• Build and maintain strong relationships with ecosystem players (wallets, stablecoin issuers, banking-as-a-service providers)

Enterprise Sales Lead, EMEA

• Own and execute strategy; define and lead Optimism’s strategy for Korea end-to-end.
• Identify high-leverage market entry points; translate protocol capabilities into compelling, business-relevant narratives.
• Originate and close deals; source, structure, and close high-impact partnerships.
• Drive product alignment; collaborate closely with product, engineering, and partner teams.
• Represent Optimism at industry events; publish thought leadership on programmable money and financial infrastructure.
