About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and maintenance of user-facing web applications and interfaces using React / Next.js with TypeScript
- Assist in developing, testing, debugging, and improving frontend features
- Improve application usability, functionality, and performance
- Follow coding standards and development practices including Git, code reviews, and linting/formatting
- Support the development and maintenance of backend services, APIs, and application logic using Node.js (Express / NestJS)
- Integrate REST APIs, relational databases, and third-party services into applications
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot backend functionality and system issues
- Improve application performance, reliability, and functionality
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
- Develop internal tools, automation, and features supporting business and operational needs, including workflow automation with n8n
- Participate in testing, documentation, code reviews, and development activities
- Troubleshoot and continuously improve existing applications and systems
- Collaborate with developers, data teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Stay updated on relevant technologies, tools, and development practices
- Own assigned tasks, communicate progress and challenges, and seek feedback to improve technical skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field, or self-taught with equivalent projects
- Basic understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and web applications and APIs
- Familiarity with a modern frontend framework and any backend/database is a plus
- Experience with Node.js, n8n, or other automation tools is a strong plus
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teammates
- Frontend: React / Next.js, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
- Backend: Node.js (Express / NestJS), REST APIs
- Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL
