Claims & Underwriting Administrator
ooba Home LoansClaims and Underwriting Administrator joining our Insurance team at Cape Town office. Handling claims from start to finish and liaising with service providers.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strong analytical ability to register claim from start to finish
- Appoint Service Providers/Loss Adjustors/Assessors/Structural Engineers
- Authorise or reject a claims within mandate
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, administrators, and stakeholders
- High attention to accuracy and detail
- Policy amendments, changes, fulfilment and annual reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Matric/Grade 12
- RE 5 certification
- NQL4 or NQL5 (Short term insurance)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in short term claims and underwriting
- Experience in high call centre environment – Inbound and outbound
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel
