Solutions Engineer

• Partner with the sales team to qualify opportunities, design solutions, and deliver compelling customer presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
• Act as the primary technical liaison in customer and partner engagements, aligning IONX capabilities with customer business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to technical documentation.
• Develop ROI/TCO models to demonstrate business value of Symphony, Synth, and Canon solutions.
• Work closely with marketing to provide technical input for content, collateral, and field events.
• Support deployment services with solution validation, site readiness, and integration guidance.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to provide field feedback and influence product roadmaps.
• Partner with the POC team to design and execute customer pilots and determine success criteria.
• Provide insights to customer service teams for technical troubleshooting and customer success.
• Maintain deep technical expertise in AI/ML, HPC, heterogeneous compute (GPU, FPGA, ASIC, quantum-ready), networking, and ultra-low latency storage.
• Create technical architectures and reference designs to highlight best practices in deploying Symphony, Synth, and Canon.
• Support knowledge transfer and training for reseller and channel partner technical teams.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to provide thought leadership in customer engagements.

• Design, build, and ship system-level software, frameworks, and tools that unlock performance on advanced hardware.
• Write Rust-based software that is performant, reliable, and safe, alongside code in C/C++ and Python where needed.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design solutions that maximize specialized compute architectures.
• Architect and implement distributed systems, APIs, and libraries that scale across clusters and heterogeneous environments.
• Dive deep into performance bottlenecks, debugging at the intersection of hardware and software.
• Mentor engineers, guide design reviews, and help shape technical direction while staying close to the codebase.
