About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation
- overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems during the installation
- Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment versus Onto specifications
- Instructs customers in the operation of the system
- Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters
- Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies responsibility for problem resolution
- Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. in Electronics, Systems Engineering, Materials Science or Analytical Chemistry
- undergraduate degree/vocational certificate(s) in above domains with 3 years of experience
- more than 50 % and up to 75 % of travel
- Metrology tool experience, operation or technical or field service support; at any tool vendor or customer is a plus
- Proficient English skill is a must
- Familiar with Windows, Microsoft office and/or Linux
- Proficient in using handy tooling, DVM and other troubleshooting gears
- Self-motivated
- Self-driver with forward thinking, consistently looking for continuous improvement
