About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of Ontinue’s MXDR service offering.
  • Work with Product, Sales, Engineering, Security Operations, Customer Success, and customers to understand needs, use cases, pain points, and desired security outcomes.
  • Translate customer, market, and internal feedback into requirements, user stories, product concepts, and roadmap inputs.
  • Support requirements engineering, including discovery, documentation, prioritization, validation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Join customer and prospect conversations to understand technical requirements and operational challenges.
  • Help bridge commercial and technical teams by capturing, structuring, and following up on product feedback.
  • Create clear diagrams, workflows, presentations, and documentation to explain product concepts and technical ideas.
  • Support go-to-market activities with product knowledge, technical context, competitive insights, and messaging input.
  • Monitor trends in cyber security, MDR, MXDR, SOC operations, Microsoft Security, and AI-powered security operations.
  • Support product initiatives from discovery through execution, gradually taking ownership of selected topics as you grow in the role.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in Product Management, Requirements Engineering, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Cyber Security Consulting, Security Operations, or a similar technical customer-facing role.
  • Practical cyber security experience, for example in managed security services, threat detection, incident response, SOC operations, consulting, or customer-facing technical work.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, challenge assumptions, and translate feedback into clear product requirements.
  • Confidence working with Sales, customer-facing teams, technical stakeholders, and customers.
  • Structured, analytical thinking combined with a pragmatic, hands-on execution style.
  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas through diagrams, workflows, presentations, and written documentation.
  • Curiosity, ownership, and motivation to grow in a fast-moving product environment.
  • Willingness to work regularly from our Zurich office.
  • Fluency in English is required; German is a strong plus.
