About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take overall responsibility for ensuring the organisation’s Integrated Management System remains compliant with a wide range of regulatory and industry standards
- Lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of the IMS
- Manage audit programmes, oversee non-conformance and corrective action processes, and ensure robust change management practices are in place
- Report on the performance and effectiveness of the IMS to senior leadership, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Lead and host regulatory and customer audits, ensuring the business is fully prepared and that any findings are addressed in a timely and effective manner
- Manage and develop the IMS team, providing coaching, training and direction to ensure strong capability and consistent standards across the function
- Promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong technical background and extensive experience working within highly regulated environments, ideally aerospace or a similar industry
- In-depth knowledge of IMS standards and frameworks, including AS9100 and ISO standards
- Experience leading audit programmes and managing compliance processes
- Experienced leader, comfortable managing teams and influencing at all levels of the organisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to non-conformance and corrective action processes
- Confident communicating complex information clearly and effectively
- Ability to engage stakeholders and drive improvements across the business
- Experience with quality systems and tools such as Q-Pulse or similar
- Strong IT skills
- A recognised qualification at Level 6 (or equivalent experience), along with Lead Auditor certification
