About the role

  • Backend development: Implement and maintain backend services, primarily in Python (FastAPI), to support AI tools and RAG systems.
  • Prompt engineering: Develop and optimize prompts for AI models to improve performance and user experience.
  • Embeddings expertise: Work with embeddings to enhance AI capabilities, such as search and recommendation systems.
  • Database management: Optimize and manage databases (PostgreSQL) for efficient data storage and processing.
  • Containerization: Deploy applications in Docker containers and manage them with Portainer.
  • CI/CD pipeline management: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab and Jenkins.
  • LLM hosting: Host and optimize large language models (LLMs) on GPUs (NVIDIA).
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS): Manage deployments on AKS and utilize Azure OpenAI Services.
  • Document extraction: Develop solutions to extract content from various document formats (e.g., PDF, MS Office).
  • Support & troubleshooting: Provide support for resolving technical issues during development and integration of AI tools and models.

Requirements

  • Backend development expertise: Strong Python skills, especially with FastAPI.
  • CI/CD knowledge: Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Azure Container Registry, and Jenkins, with the ability to support and maintain pipelines.
  • Database knowledge: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Docker proficiency: Ability to build and optimize Docker containers.
  • LLM hosting experience: Familiarity with hosting and optimizing large language models on GPUs (NVIDIA).
  • Prompt engineering: Experience developing and optimizing prompts for AI models.
  • Embeddings expertise: Knowledge of working with embeddings for tasks like semantic search and recommendations.
  • Azure knowledge: Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure OpenAI Services.
  • Testing skills: Solid experience with automated and manual testing.
  • Language skills: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
