About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitating learning activities that engage and retain students
- Marking assessments and providing meaningful, constructive feedback
- Supporting communication through discussion boards, emails, and live sessions – ensuring visibility to students every 24-48 hours
- Collaborating with academic teams to maintain unit quality

Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified: Hold a minimum postgraduate degree in Business Information System, Business Analytics or similar
- Experienced: 5+ years practical and industry experience working with data
- Ideal candidate will demonstrate data governance, stakeholder engagement, project-based experience and applied agile principles
- Empathetic: Understand the challenges faced by online learners
- Be comfortable facilitating units LEO5310 Data exploration, visualisation, and information design, LEO5311 Quantitative analysis and data modelling or LEO5312 Data reporting, presentation and dashboards
- Organised & proactive: Able to manage time and responsibilities independently
- Tech-confident: Comfortable navigating online learning platforms
- Student-focused: Passionate about helping students succeed
- Flexibility to work sessional part-time: 8 hours per week. Hours may increase depending on assessment/marking cadences and the number of student groups you support.
- Located in Australia
- Desirable:
- Experience teaching or studying in an online environment
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience
