About the role

  • Work with various stakeholders to set up student initiatives to directly impact students with additional support needs – indigenous, students from low socio-economic backgrounds, regional and/or remote students.
  • Access and manipulate student data to evaluate the impact of each initiative against key student retention metrics and other determined success metrics.
  • Conduct detailed analysis on how students access and interact with various aspects of each initiative using complex modelling techniques as appropriate
  • Present results of analysis in an easy to interpret way using different data visualisation techniques

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in statistics, analytics, mathematics, computer science or related field
  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • Experience in delivery of reporting or analytics with ability to analyse, generate and communicate insights drawn from multiple data sources
  • Knowledge of evaluation methodologies (A/B testing etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results under deadlines
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with AWS (S3, Lambda, Chalice)
  • Understanding of Gen AI applications
