About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate the monthly and annual accounting close, ensuring the preparation of trial balances, balance sheets, and financial statements with the highest accuracy.
Ensure full compliance with current laws, Brazilian accounting standards (CPC), international standards (IFRS), and internal policies.
Lead responses to internal and external audits, ensuring preparedness and quality of the evidence and explanations provided.
Lead the committee and actions for Tax Reform implementation, assessing impacts on technology business models (SaaS, licenses, services) and designing transition scenarios.
Supervise the calculation of direct and indirect taxes and ensure timely delivery of tax filings and ancillary obligations.
Act as an internal consultant to other company areas, advising on tax impacts of new products, contracts, or partnerships.
Manage end-to-end HR/Personnel administration (hiring, payroll, terminations, vacations, labor charges, eSocial, and benefits), ensuring labor compliance for a technology team (which often has flexible hiring arrangements).
Lead, develop, and engage the accounting team, promoting a culture of high performance, autonomy, and deadline focus.
Implement and lead the use of Artificial Intelligence and automations (RPA) in accounting routines to eliminate repetitive tasks.
Ensure integration and data quality of accounting information in partnership with the Tax and Finance teams.
Build consultative reports and strategic dashboards to support executive decision-making.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Active CRC registration (mandatory).
Solid experience of 4 to 7 years in accounting, financial close, and preparation of financial statements.
Experience with calculations of direct and indirect taxes, tax filings/ancillary obligations, and support for external audits.
Previous experience leading and developing accounting teams.
Previous experience in accounting firms or internal accounting departments of medium and large companies.
Knowledge of HR administration routines, including payroll, labor charges, eSocial, and benefits.
Experience with ERPs and accounting systems such as Totvs, Domínio, Protheus, SAP, Sankhya, or similar.
Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (CPC/IFRS) and tax and labor legislation.
Analytical and organized profile, with leadership ability, strategic vision, and good interpersonal communication.
Practical experience implementing AI or Analytics tools applied to accounting.
