About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Control and record credit card accounts payable invoices, ensuring deadlines are met and correct accounting and tax classification is applied;
- Post accounting entries and assist with monthly and annual closings, ensuring accurate preparation of balance sheets and financial statements;
- Perform periodic account reconciliations, ensuring consistency and integrity of financial information;
- Assist with the transition related to tax reform;
- Support the capture and posting of tax documents for the Mexico subsidiary;
- Support external audits by organizing and providing necessary documents and information;
- Assist in the calculation and reporting of direct and indirect taxes, ensuring proper tax bookkeeping;
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (complete);
- Intermediate Excel;
- Previous experience with accounting and tax routines, reconciliations, and closings;
- Organized profile with strong attention to detail and good interpersonal communication skills;
- Knowledge of the Sankhya ERP system;
