About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales performance within the assigned Dallas North, TX territory by calling on healthcare professional offices and mental health community centers in person and virtually
- Understand and identify customer needs, align marketing resources, and support pull-through activities
- Customize customer discussions and interactions in a compliant and ethical manner
- Maintain current understanding of local markets, practice structures, customers, and key influencers
- Share market information with internal stakeholders and provide input into resource allocation decisions
- Identify and select appropriate programs and resources for customers, practices, and systems
- Develop a local business plan with the Regional Business Manager and stakeholders
- Capitalize on formulary approvals and business opportunities through strategic-plan implementation
- Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best-practice sharing
- Manage work-hour, sales-call, customer-objective, communication-response, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting
- Build business plans based on customer needs, resources, and products
- Complete assigned company and job-related training within required timelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum two years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, business-to-business sales, or recent transition from Active-Duty Military
- Three or more years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
- Strong desire and passion for improving patients’ and caregivers’ lives
- High integrity and compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Self-motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial drive, decision-making judgment, teaming/collaboration, and cross-functional skills
- Track record of learning and adapting in an evolving environment
- Ability to adapt to changing telemedicine and virtual environments
- Ability to analyze data and metrics, assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify opportunities
- Experience establishing customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences
- Ability to work meetings outside normal working hours
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Territories may require overnight travel; periodic domestic travel to headquarters, training, and sales meetings is required
